For better transparency and communication, I would like to update our community on our plan to deliver the Tropos-5 in January 2023.
The following 2 issues are the obstacle which could cause delays:
1) EVM account vs Cosmos-SDK account compatibility issue
2) EVM decimal vs Stratos chain decimal compatibility issue
Fixing the two issues requires us to change all components, including SDS Resource node, Meta node and Stratos chain node, SDK, and wallet.
Following a deliberate discussion and internal estimation this week, it appears that the above issues can be resolved by the middle of December. In light of the approaching holiday season, we want to avoid spoiling the holiday season with unexpected problems. So we decided to launch the Tropos-5 in January.
