The team is working on the Tropos-4 with new Metanode and SDS version. After the final test, the Tropos-4 will release in 2~3 weeks. Then, the team will work on the SDK. We will also release mobile wallet version soon as well. Based on the community test and feedback of Tropos-4, we will decide will have Tropos-5 version or not. Thereafter, we will have the third party to audit all the code. Then the mainnet will be ready.

Thejediman asked a great question, let me answer here. I know combine all 4 components are very complex and it's a big challenge for Stratos team, but all the services are needed. The 4 modules Stratos services are composed of include blockchain, decentralized storage, decentralized databases, and decentralized computing. Just as the earth needs air, water, soil, and sunlight, each of these four elements is indispensable to the provision of the necessary conditions for the growth of everything. Different combinations of these four modules will also provide various decentralized services for the blockchain industry and traditional industries. The blockchain and storage components are the start point of the journey. By offering storage first, Stratos will store all type of data (Text, Image, Audio, Video, Binary), then the computation demand is coming with the stored data. User need computing power (CPU, GPU even TPU) to process their data, encode/decode Video, play music or movie, etc… After dApp could store and compute data in the same network, then the new demand will come, how to store and retrieve data much efficient? OK, it's time to talk about decentralized database. So, we deliver blockchain, storage, computation and database in this order by the designed plan. Storage brings computation demand naturally, then database requirement organically. So when storage, computation and database are all ready, Stratos will become the most solid cornerstone of the Era of Decentralization, supporting decentralized service infrastructure, and contributing to the blockchain industry. Providing the decentralized system with air, water, and sunlight, we develop the entire ecosystem in the stratosphere, making it more stable, more prosperous, and more sustainable.

Any data available how many users are downloading / uploading? 1. In the testnet, we won't store the data permanently. When a new version releases, the data will be cleaned. 2. In the testnet, the SDS participators are the users. After the Stratos SDK is available, the real user can download/upload files without SDS. How much fsta and on what speed ? Based on previous test result that community provided, Upload 100 MB file takes 3 seconds. Upload 200 MB file takes 7 seconds.

🙌 New Year, New Sprint! 🔥Stratos 1st bi-weekly report of 2022 is here! 2021 has been an exciting, challenging, and fruitful year for Stratos; it was also the year we proudly launched our project. The team faced many unexpected difficulties and problems we had never seen before, but we tackled them one by one and achieved marvelous results. Many memorable moments from team forming, fundraising, IDO, community growth, Stratos Chain and Stratos Decentralized Storage testnet launches, three exchange listing events, multiple partnerships to Stratos wallet web application launched in three versions. Stratos team always puts in the maximum effort to make them successful, and because of that, we have earned trust from our investors, community members, partners, and users. We set solid foundations in 2021, and we will continue to grow exponentially and achieve more in 2022.
